I am The Rose. I'm in college and have few friends. I want to share my voice with the world. I want to explore new things and better myself. I don't really have a plan for my life right now but I want to enjoy this time in my life.

Books are one of my favorite past times and I love how the author can take an idea and write a whole new world for the reader to experience. They can take your feelings and make you feel emotions that you normally wouldn't feel towards people. They can make you hate so easily, love so easily, and cry so easily with nothing more than words. I used to read a lot of YA books, but as I've matured I have been enjoying characters that are older (surprisingly life doesn't revolve around being 18!!). I enjoy thrillers and mystery novels. I to gravitate towards realistic fiction but if you have any recommendations tell me right away and I will try to read them! I am a frequent patron at my local library.

Although I don't have as much free time as I used to with college, I try and make time for other interests. I enjoy making coffee and espresso, dabbling in fashion and makeup, and listening to music or podcasts when I can. And of course reading.

While I am pretty shy I want to connect with people through this online space ad be able to look back how I've grown as a person trying to figure out myself.
